Nurses’ FREE recruitment to the UK through Global Learners Programme (GLP)

ODEPC recruits Nurses to NHS trust hospitals of the United Kingdom through the Global Learners Programme (GLP) of Health Education England (HEE).

The Global Learners Programme offers a work-based educational experience in England for nurses and other healthcare professionals, which will enhance and add to their existing skills and provide an opportunity to work in the NHS whilst gaining new knowledge and experience.

Nurses working in both Government and Private sectors will be benefited from this program. The government of Kerala has issued special orders permitting Government nurses for participating in this program.

ODEPC reimburses the following expenses, before your travel to the UK


  • IELTS/OET Exam fee
  • IELTS/OET Training fee
  • CBT Exam Fee
  • NMC application fee
  • HEE/NHS bears the following expenses



  • Visa and immigration surcharge (Recouped from Nurses’ salary in 3 years)
  • CoS charges
  • Air ticket
  • First OSCE exam fee and conveyance fee

Eligibility:



  • BSc Nursing or Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery
  • Valid Nursing Council Registration
  • At least 6 months of clinical experience
  • A recent gap in employment must not exceed 1 year
  • NO age or gender restriction
  • English Language Requirement


The candidate needs to achieve the required scores in IELTS/OET.



  1. IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
  2. Writing: 6.5;
  3. Listening / Reading / Speaking : 7.0
  4. Overall: 7.0
  5. OET (Occupational English Test)
  6. Grade B in all Modules (Listening, Reading, Speaking, Writing)

Band 5 salary of £ 24,214 pen annum upon receipt of NMC PIN Number (More than 20 lakhs INR)

Salary increases in the following years and within 3 years it reaches up to £30,000 per annum
